On 10 August 2026, integrated BMS commissioning for the QHI01-B1 building in Thailand was completed on schedule. As the company's first data center BMS project implemented in Thailand, it followed a year of preparation and nearly seven months of intensive on-site work. The team met the agreed timeline and technical objectives, building experience and a strong foundation for the campus's B2, B3 and B4 projects.
The project officially began in July 2025. Given the long delivery cycle, numerous specialist interfaces and complex equipment logistics involved in an international project, the company's engineering, commercial and supply chain teams engaged early. They systematically prepared detailed construction drawings, confirmed domestic and overseas technical agreements, scheduled overseas equipment production and arranged staff visas. The project team also proactively coordinated all participating parties and reviewed differences between domestic and international electrical standards, local Thai construction requirements and cross-border transport risks, creating the conditions for smooth on-site execution.
On the third day of the 2026 Lunar New Year, while families across China were still celebrating the Spring Festival, the project team said goodbye to their loved ones and travelled to Thailand, becoming one of the first specialist construction teams to enter the campus. Once on site, the team quickly completed equipment inventory checks and coordinated interfaces with manufacturers before commencing BMS conduit installation, controller installation and point wiring, making every effort to keep the project on schedule.
During on-site implementation, the project team overcame persistent high temperatures, long cross-border logistics cycles, overlapping work across multiple disciplines and extensive coordination between organisations. The team maintained end-to-end control over key activities, including conduit installation, controller installation, program downloads, point-to-point testing and integrated system commissioning. A daily joint coordination mechanism enabled it to resolve equipment communication faults, mismatched electromechanical control logic and data exchange issues across multiple systems without delay.
After nearly seven months of continuous work, the project team completed integrated commissioning of the entire QHI01-B1 BMS on 10 August, achieving a critical delivery milestone. The result fully demonstrated the company's organisational coordination, technical implementation and contract delivery capabilities for intelligent MEP projects at overseas data centers.
The project's successful implementation produced end-to-end experience spanning solution design, detailed drawings, on-site construction and integrated system commissioning, along with standard operating procedures and an issue-resolution register that can directly inform the campus's subsequent buildings. It also strengthened mutual trust with the client and developed a professional team with international communication skills, multi-party coordination capabilities, on-site emergency response experience and construction experience in Southeast Asia, building the talent and capabilities required for the company's continued overseas growth.
Next, the project team will continue supporting system trial operations, complete the as-built drawings, commissioning records and acceptance documentation, and advance formal completion acceptance. It will also systematically consolidate the project's technical solutions, construction processes and troubleshooting cases into an overseas data center BMS knowledge base to support the QHI01 campus's B2, B3 and B4 projects and other similar overseas projects. The company will continue providing follow-up operations and maintenance services through a combination of remote and on-site support to ensure stable long-term system operation.
Across borders and throughout their time on the front line, the project team completed the assignment with strong professional expertise and a practical approach, delivering a solid result for the continued development of the company's overseas business.
